The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library. – Albert Einstein
I’m right on track! Yesterday I finished my fourth book, Benny & Shrimp by Katarina Mazetti. A fun, light read that is perfect for this challenge.
What it’s about- Desiree and Benny, both in their mid 30’s, are feeling alone. Desiree (or Shrimp) lost her husband and Benny his mother. They meet at the cemetery since the two graves are side by side. Desiree, a librarian, and Benny, a dairy farmer, are on a collision course to opposites attract.
What did I learn- In Sweden, mid 30’s is middle age and cause for much despair. You can rent swim trunks at local swimming pools in Sweden. The life of a dairy farmer is more stifling than you think. A farmer needs a wife (or mother).
Oh, and I also learned that I can read in the car! Up to this point it’s always made me sick, but yesterday since we were in the car over an hour to meet friends I had to try it. Yay!
Who would love it- Anyone who likes quirky characters and entertaining prose. And if you like the idea of learning more about life in Sweden.

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend! Today we are busy prepping four rooms for wallpaper removal starting tomorrow. Fun times 🙂
